Whirlpool is a name to reckon with in the electronic consumer market. Founded way back in 1911, in Michigan, under the name of Upton Machine Corporation, this company has sailed over the years to attain the impressive position, it is in, currently. The flagship product was an electric motor driven wringer washer. 1929 saw the merger of Upton Machine Corporation with Nineteen Hundred Washer Company. It was after 20 years later in 1950, when the company acquired the name Whirlpool Corporation. Later in 1989, Whirlpool merged with Philips to form the European Joint venture.

Whirlpool is now positioned as a global leader, producer and innovator of numerous home appliances. Currently the company has a $19 million annual turnover with approximately 80,000 employees around the world and more than 59 manufacturing and research centers.

Whirlpool produces Refrigerators Washer Dryers etc and within this massive range of kitchen products are Single ovens, double ovens, Microwave ovens and Hobs. Whirlpool has 25 models of Single ovens with a color range of glamorous Black, White, and Stainless Steel. These ovens come with some typical features like pyrolitic cleaning, sixth sense function, three level cooking, and sizes (in mm) Ht.595xW.595xD.565. Some of the single ovens are provided with text assisted display and Steam Assisted Cooking , ready to cook facility, triple glazed door, Energy efficiency of Class ‘A’, multifunctional cooking, finger print proof Stainless steel, jet menu, tilt down grill, aqua clean cycle, accurate temperature control, easy clean liners, Circa fan cooking and timers.

Double ovens are available in 7 different models featured with different dimensions. The double ovens come armed with a multitude of features like easy clean enamel, energy efficiency, Catalytic liners, electronic clock and programmer and circa fan cooking.

Microwave ovens are available in 29 different models and some of the common features running through the models are jet frost facility that facilitates accelerated defrosting. Jet frost can get 500 grams of minced meat defrosted in a span of just 2 minutes. Unique crisp function, 3D emission system, jet streamed force air cooking, magic clean non stick coating and sixth sense are some of the other brilliant features of the Whirlpool microwave ovens.

Hobs come in 33 unique models and with an option of Black, white and steel colors. Residual heat indicators, precise temperature control, booster functionality, touch control and flame failure safety functions.

Whirlpool has outlets in many countries with dealers spread out over the Asian, European and American continents.
