In the North-East of Italy was a brain always wondering how to reduce the work at home. Since 1916 he was coming up with new ways to make your life easier. Yes! Antonio Zanussi the founder of the company invented his first cast iron made wood-burning stove in 1920. This Italian started Zanussi with 10 employees, and with a continual interest and fleet of advancement landed them to launch their first gas cooker on the soils of Europe in 1951, leading a common woman to faster cooking durations.

Whirlpool Ovens & Hobs

Whirlpool is a name to reckon with in the electronic consumer market. Founded way back in 1911, in Michigan, under the name of Upton Machine Corporation, this company has sailed over the years to attain the impressive position, it is in, currently. The flagship product was an electric motor driven wringer washer. 1929 saw the merger of Upton Machine Corporation with Nineteen Hundred Washer Company. It was after 20 years later in 1950, when the company acquired the name Whirlpool Corporation. Later in 1989, Whirlpool merged with Philips to form the European Joint venture.

Smeg Ovens, Cookers & Hobs

Smeg was founded in the year 1948 by Italian Vittorio Bertazzoni. Now the company is handled by Roberto Bertazzoni. SMEG headquarters is in Guastalla. It is known for their retro refrigerators (FAB range) which have different non-tradition colors, patterns and curved corners. They also manufacture washer’s dryers, induction hobs, hoods, ovens, cookers and integrated washing machine. These famed products have led them to become a leader of home appliances.

Carl Miele and Richard Zinkann were the historic founder of the famous German company Miele. This company has always been owned by the family of the founders and till date is also run by the same people. The Guiding Mantra for MIELE has always been “Immer Besser” or “Forever Better”. When we translate these German words to English it gives a meaning “Forever Better”. Thus the company truly aims in keeping the belief of these words of their founders by aiming at high quality materials and dexterity, resilience and steadfastness. The company was founded in the year 1899 and thus it is the fourth generation of the family which has taken over the company.

DeLonghi Ovens & Cookers

DeLonghi was established in the year 1902 as small industrial part makers. It is based in Treviso, Italy.  DeLonghi was organized and maintained as a legal corporation firm in 1950. They are the world’s leading brand in portable heating. Now DeLonghi has expanded in every major home appliance like cookers, ovens, air conditioners, cleaning and ironing. They acquired Kenwood Limited in 2001 gave them access to their Chinese factory that’s the reason that many of the DeLonghi products are made in China and designed and engineered in Italy. It operates in more than 75 countries with 13 production factories.

Cannon Industries Cookers

Cannon Industries was included as a part of General Domestic Appliances which itself was formed as a division of the GEC Group in 1989. There were many more companies included in the General Domestic Appliances banner, in addition to Cannon. Later in 1989 GE of the USA bought a 50% share of the General Domestic Appliances division. Increased professional association between the individual companies resulted in the transfer of the manufacture of gas cookers and fires to Creda’s Blythe Bridge factory in 1994.
