Robert Bosch was the man behind Bosch. He established his first workshop for precision mechanics and electrical engineering in 1886. 1898 was the year, when Bosch broadened its roots to inaugurate its first international office in London. Bosch Magneto Company Ltd, located on Oxford Street, laid an enduring business strategy ensuring its position not only to become UK’s gigantic investor but also a momentous manufacturer and exporter. Bosch group has over 280,0000 employees with 300 outlets in 60 countries and approximately 150 countries including sales and service partners, and has an annual turnover of 45.1 billion Euro’s for the 2008 financial year.

Today BSH Bosch and Siemens are in 50% joint venture and have a broad range of products under the sub-divisions of laundry, dishwashers, fridges and freezers, cooking, vacuums, irons, coffee, kettles, toasters and hand blenders. Further under the cooking category are single ovens, double ovens compact appliances, compact ovens, combination microwaves, built in microwaves, free standing microwaves, steam ovens, warming drawers, free standing cookers, range cookers, gas hobs, induction hobs, ceramic hobs, domino hobs and cookers.

Single and double ovens come in a total of 25 and 17 respectively and are further distributed in 4 varied sub-models under brand names Additional, Logixx, Exxcel and Classixx. Cooking is made easier and hassle free with the automatic program within the menu. The user simply needs to choose how they prefer the dish to be cooked e.g. rare, medium or well-cooked, mention the quantity of the meat or fish and press the button to start. Automatic cooking takes its charge, selects the cooking style, temperature and cooking duration to a delicious work out.

Compact appliances are designed in such a fashion that it gives an ideal equilibrium when furnished horizontally or vertically. Designers have brilliantly designed the dials and knobs to the handles and doors. Compacted appliances are mottled in Logixx ovens and Exxcel ovens 7 models respectively.
Compact ovens with outstanding cutting-edge and features are speckled in 42 liters ranging 900-1000 watts with a provision of pyrolytic cleaning facility. Steam ovens with exceptional electronic controls as well as operating parameters are also coordinated to make life simple.
